Incredible,

I had the pleasure to facilitate with Jill, Anna and Catherine the annual European Professional Women's Network this thursday in Amsterdam. It was a very enthusiastic networking event with dutch but also american, canadian, norvegian and french executive women :)

I discovered Bellevue, Seattle's shopping mall and also hi-tech companies paradise and spent then a couple of days in Vancouver (British Columbia), nice city with friendly canadians :) Amazingly, when I came back, the Canadian Embassy in Netherlands invited me to a VIP event in Amsterdam. It's decided, I'm canadian now ;)

Incredible,

Within the context of a study on women's way to network, I have been interviewed today by a journalist.

I had the opportunity to develop my "I am your father" theory that tends to proove that a male manager will, even unconsciously, favor a men's application or promotion.

My thoughts should be available soon in the famous french magazine Le Nouvel Observateur and Challenge.

So my tip for each woman is: if you meet a top executive woman, try to convince her to become your mother or at least your mentor ;o)

It is useful to share some experiences and best practices. The 3 main workshops were about "Corporate Culture" "Job seeking" and "Entrepreneurship" (of course I was part of this one). Last but not least, the dinner took place in the Restaurant of the Sénat : not bad! our Senators have a nice canteen ;o)

Incredible,

The first OpenBC event took place in Paris last Wednesday. Already very active in countries like Germany, this virtual network is growing fast in France. The attendees, most of them were entrepreneurs or working in innovative companies, were able to network around a cocktail near the Opera Bastille.
One of us won a one-year premium subscription ... and it was my Associate and President of Manalee !
